අල්ලස් දුන් මේ සල්ලි මිටි වහා රාජසන්තක කළ යුතු ය. එසේ ම, ප්‍රසිද්ධියේ අල්ලස් ගත් හා එම සාපරාධී ක්‍රියාව නිතියෙන් වසන් කළ මෙම පුද්ගලයා වහා අත්අඩංගුවට ගත යුතු ය. අල්ලස් දුන් අය හා අල්ලස් දීම පිළිබඳව දැන සිටියේ යයි ඔහු කියන අයගෙන් වහා ප්‍රශ්න කළ යුතු ය.
මුසම්මිල් ජනමාධ්‍යවලලට පවසන්නේ මෙසේ ය.
”...සරත් ෆොන්සේකා මහතාට සහාය දෙන්න කියලා මට ආරාධනා කළේ මයෝන් මුස්තාපා මන්ත්‍රීවරයායි. මේ බව සරත් ෆොන්සේකා මහතාගේ හා රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ, රවි කරුණානායක යන අයගේ වුවමනාව මත සිදුවන බවත් මයෝන් මුස්තාපා මට කීවා. මේ විදිහට සාකච්ඡා වට කිහිපයක් ගියා. ඔවුන් මට පොරොන්දු වුණා රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 300ක්, විදේශ සංචාර හා පූර්ණ ආරක්ෂාව දෙනවාය කියලා. මම මේ ගැන අපේ නායක විමල් වීරවංශ මහතාව දැනුවත් කළා.
මේ කුමන්ත්‍රණය මහජනතාවට හෙළිදරවු කරන්න ඕනැය කියලා අපි තීරණය කළා. ෆොන්සේකා මහතාගේ දෙවැනි මෙහෙයුම කියන්නේ ලක්ෂ ගණන් මුදල් දීලා මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් බිලි බා ගැනීම බව මහජනතාවට පෙන්වා දෙන්න ඕන වුණා. මේ අනුව මම රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ, රවි කරුණානායක යන මහත්වරු එක්කත් සාකච්ඡා කළා. ඒ හඬපට සේරම මා ළඟ තියෙනවා. මුදල් දෙන වීඩියෝ පටයත් තියෙනවා.”
මේ හඬ පට ජනමාධ්‍යවලට ලබා දෙන බව ඔහු පවසයි. ඒවා ලබා දිය යුත්තේ ජනමාධ්‍යවලට නොව පොලිසියටයි. මෙම මන්ත්‍රීවරයා ක්‍රියා කරන්නේ තනිකර ම නීති විරෝධී අන්දමිනි.
අල්ලස් ගත් මෙම පුද්ගලයා හා ඔහුට අල්ලස් ලබා දුන් අය වහා අත්අඩංගුවට ගත යුතු ය. මොවුහු රටේ නීති සම්පාදනය කරන පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට මහජනයා විසින් පත් කර යවන ලද අය බැවින් මොවුන්ට උපරිම දඬුවම් දිය යුතු ය.
අපි අහලා තිබුනේ දිසා අධිකරණ, මහාධිකරණ හා උපරිමාධිකරණ වගේ ඒවා.

This is non other than soliciting bribe. Those who are giving and taking bribes are offenders irrespective of they are the supporters of either the government or the opposition.

ReplyDeleteAs I said, it's not a crime to TAKE money from someone. It's not a crime to GIVE money to someone. No one involved in this incident are guilty of anything in the eyes of the law. Even if you make a complaint about this to the Bribery and Corruption Commission, they wouldn't be able to investigate because none of them have committed a crime. Get it, retards??
This is why neither Muzamil nor WW have made a complaint. Even if they did, the police can't arrest anyone because no crime had been committed.
The question is about the ethics of the Fonseka campaign, and the video evidence is undeniable. Your argument is a pathetic red herring, typical of uneducated UNP ratbags. Sri Lankan voters are not as stupid as your village UNP kasippu karayas to be impressed by such idiotic comebacks...
The facts remain thus. Muzammil (and most likely many others) has been offered large amounts of money to switch camps. Offering money is not illegal, but does the Fonseka campaign think it's alright? Everything that's legal is not ethical and vice versa.
WW have produced the voters rock solid video, audio and other evidence of completely unacceptable, corrupt and shameless behaviour by the Yahapalanaya gang. What is your response to this, apart from Chandi parts like "go and make a complaint to the police?"
Secondly, who gave this money to the UNP? What do they expect in return once the Yaha-palana Hansa Generaala is elected? Is the money from Ranil's business friends? Is it from Milliband and the lot that Gotabhaya said "fuck off" to when they tried to stop us from winning the war? Is it from our local NGOs? Was the money provided to fund a forced regime change in Sri Lanka, or was it merely a down payment for a carte-blanche for day-light robbery once Ponseka gets elected? Are we going to see our national assets being auctioned off to the lowest bidder, provided they've made such down payments to the Fonseka campaign?

Bardoflanks does not understand the difference between accepting a donation (it's not a crime to TAKE money from someone) and soliciting a bribe. So all his arguments are baseless.
We are a left liberal media and we have no any kind of loyalty to Fonseka. We always appear for good governance and rule of law. Neither Fonseka nor Mahinda equal to those concepts.

The courts have a very specific definition for bribery. An MP taking money to switch sides is not illegal. An MP taking money to grant a tender, give a government job to someone, approve a building permit etc is illegal. Get it, dimwit? Source: I have a degree in Finance and Commercial Law.
Even if this was illegal (which it's not), Muzammil is a whistleblower and the only reason he participated in this is to catch the crooks red-handed. He's not guilty of anything, either in the eyes of the law or the people. If anything, he's an informant.
