Do you mean the freedom to burn petroleum excessively or to release whatever amount of green house gases to maintain present day's consumerism?

SOme are skeptical about numbers. It is not easy to predict a global phenomena like this. But problem is not the rate of sea level expansion. 1mm, 3.4mm or 10mm, sea level is rising. Nobody thinks that it is stable or reducing. So in 2100 or any other year, one day the sea will eat out land. Or we will lead into an ice age due to the activation of earth cooling systems. I cannot believe if anybody says that this part is false. Yes numbers may be wrong.
So in any case we need to work on remedies. But the little bit that you and me are doing is eaten out by the greed of developed world.
It is better to learn ways to face global warming than telling the idiots to stop causing it.
