We should not promote this type of biased reporting or views. If he is so sure of his sources onformation coming from conflict areas at that time, he should give a better figure. Saying that the number killed is between 10K-40K ( an enormas variance) is itself tells about the accuracy of reporting and heresay nature of it. Of course people got killed, on both sides, but it does not warrent mis-information by a reputed international agency.
ReplyDeletesome of the things mention here is true. this poor tamils are tring to escape through seeis because they don't have money. but the most of minorities are tring to escape through leagal way cz they are affraid to live in sri lanka. as a minority I know 5/6 of my friends wanna leave this country and they have confirm that they will never make any step to this country again.
ReplyDeleteThere were truth in civilians got killed in the actions. We do not have gurantee of the numbers given by various sources. However, we should have been prevented large civilian casualties if our leaders acted more humane way. Most of these people who sacrifice their lives were neither terrorist nor LTTE sympathizers, they were civilians who crushed between pacist terrorist group and military.These innocent people were very unlucky, cheated repeatedly by LTTE and power hungry tamil politicians .Only mistake they did were born as tamils.
