(2010 මාර්තු 01-W3Lanka) ලංකාව ලෝකයේ විදුලි මිළ ඉහළම ස්ථාන අතරින් එකක් බව අධ්‍යයනයකින් හෙළි වේ.
ලංකාවේ කිලෝ වොට් පැය එකක විදුලි ඒකකයක් සඳහා ඉහළ මට්ටමින් විදුලිය වැය කරන ගෘහස්ථ පාරිභෝගිකයෝ ඩොලර් ශත 30ක් පමණ ගෙවති. එහෙත් එක්සත් ජනපදයේ ගෘහස්ථ පාරිභෝගිකයකු සාමාන්‍යයෙන් එවැනි ඒකකයකට ගෙවන්නේ ඩොලර් ශත 11.76කි. (2009 ඔක්තෝබර්)
2009දී බ්‍රිතාන්‍යයේ මෙම විදුලි මිළ ඩොලර් ශත 18.59ක් විය.
අසල්වැසි ඉන්දියාවේ මෙය ඩොලර් ශත අටක් පමණකි.

ReplyDeleteඅනික ඒ රටවල විදුලි උත්පාදනය සඳහා අවෂ්ය ඉන්දන තියනවා නමුත් අපේ රටේ ඒවත් පිටරටින් ගේන්න ඕන නිකං ලැබෙන්නෑනේ..
ජල විදුලිය උනත් හැමදාම එක විදිහට ලැබෙන්නෙත් නෑ.
විදුලි පිරිවැය අඩු කර ගැනීමට ලංකාවට කළ හැකි දේ තිබෙනවා. චීනය, ඉන්දියාව වැනි රටවල් තම පරිසර දූෂණය අඩු කර ගැනීම සඳහා ගලවන ගල් අඟුරු බලාගාර මෙහි සවි කරගෙන පිටරටින් ගල් අඟුරු ගෙනැවිත් විදුලිය නිෂ්පාදනය කිරීමෙන් මෙය කළ නොහැකියි. ලංකාව අවුරුද්ද පුරා හිරු එළිය එක සේ ලැබෙන ඝර්ම කලාපීය රටක්. ඇයි අපට සූර්ය විදුලිය නිපදවන්න බැරි. බටහිරින් ඒ ගැන උපදෙස් නොලැබෙන නිසාද?

ReplyDeleteThe 0.30 USD is only for units above 600. First set of units are 10 times cheaper at 0.03 USD.

Even if someone uses 700 units, he has to pay 0.30 USD only for the units from 601 to 700. So the average is still way below 0.03.
If you are twisting the facts for your political agenda, do it more carefully next time. ;-)

ReplyDeleteDark Lord is talking about first 30 units (for 3Rs). That you can use 100W buld only a hour a day, for a month. Since he stay at utter dark rest of the night, he call himself Dark Lord.

ReplyDeleteCost of production for unit = capital payment component + CEB overheads + cover up for blunders made by CEB + compensastion component for corruption made by politicians + fuel sucharge Etc. Etc.
In Other countries formula
Cost of production for unit = capital payment component + overheads
We pay more unnecessarily for CEB faults and political corruptions

ReplyDeleteA unit is a kilo-watt hour. A 100w buld takes 10 hours to burn a unit, not one hour like you have said.
A 60 watt buld takes 16+ hours. A 20w CFL bulb takes 50 hours to burn a unit.
30 rupee mark hits only after 600 units.
We use about 100-150 units every month. This is with the regular use of washing machine, water pump which takes a lot of power, refrigerator and other equipment.
The cost for 100 units and 150 units are Rs 616 and 1416 respectively.
Average per unit price for a home consuming 100-150 units are between Rs 6.16 to Rs 9.44.
About 6-9 cents dollars, not 30.
Many companies in the West charge monthly/quarterly fixed fees in addition to per kilowatt rates. Sri Lanka is way cheaper than most these countries. What do you think is going to happen once the new environmental taxes come in to force in Western countries?
ReplyDeleteයුනිට් 600 හෝ ඊට අඩුවෙන් තියෙන පියවර වලදී ඒ ඒ අදාල කොටසට පමනක් ගෙවන විදියට බිල හදන්න අණ කලේ පරණ CJ - සරත් නන්ද සිල්වා මහත්තයා තමයි. නඩුවක තීන්දුවක් විදියට. මේ ආණ්ඩුව හැදුව විදියට යුනිට් 600 පැන්නම 0 ඉඳලම ඒ ඉහල ගානට අනුව බිල හැදෙනව. පොඩ්ඩක් හිතල බලන්න මුන්ට හිතක් පපුවක් කියල දෙයක් තියෙනවනම් මෙහෙම බිල් හදන්න පුලුවන්ද. මහ ලොකුවට කතාවෙන් නම් "සංවේදී".
