රජයේ වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමයට අභියෝගයක් | A challenge to Government Medical Officers' Association of Sri Lanka
මන්ද, ලබන අයවැයෙන් රජයේ වෛද්‍යවරයකුගේ මාසික වැටුප රුපියල් ලක්ෂ දෙකක් කිරීමට පියවර ගන්නැයි රජයේ වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමය ජාතික වැටුප් කොමිසමෙන් ඉල්ලීමක් කර තිබේ. මෙය වෛද්‍යවරයකුගේ අවම ආරම්භක වැටුප විය යුතු යයි සිතමු. මෙම වැටුප් වැඩි කිරීම පිළිබඳ අපගේ කිසිදු විරෝධයක් නැත. විරෝධය ඇත්තේ වැටුප් විෂමතා වැඩි කරන්නැයි කරන ඉල්ලීමට ය.
මෙරට රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ සනීපාරක්ෂක කම්කරුවකුගේ මාසික වැටුප රුපියල් 11,700 ක් වන විට සාමාන්‍ය වෛද්‍යවරයෙකුගේ වැටුප රුපියල් 26,000 ක් හා විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරයකුගේ වැටුප රුපියල් 42,000 ක් වන බව පෙන්වා දෙන වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමය මෙම තත්ත්වය මත සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යංශයේ ඉහළම විධායක නිලධාරිවරයා වන සෞඛ්‍ය ලේකම්වරයාගේ මාසික වැටුප පවා රුපියල් 47,515 ඉක්‌මවීමට නොහැකි වී ඇතැයිද වෛද්‍ය නිලධාන්ගේ සංගමය පවසයි.
මේ කතා කරන්නේ මූලික වැටුප ගැන පමණි. සේවයට පැමිණීම හා පිටවීම තමන්ගේ ම පොතක පමණක් වාර්තා කරන වෛද්‍යවරු මසකට වැඩ කරන බව කියන අතිකාල පැය ගණන හා ඔවුන් උපයන වෙනත් දීමනා ආදිය පිළිබඳ අවබෝධයක් ලබා ගැනීමට වෛද්‍යවරයකුගේ වැටුප් පතක් ප්‍රසිද්ධ කිරීමෙන් හැකියාව ලැබේ.
බොහෝ වෛද්‍යවරුන් රජයේ රෝහල්වල වැඩ කරන බව කියන අතිකාල පැය ගණන අනුව ඔවුන්ට පෞද්ගලික ප්‍රතිකාරවල යෙදීම සඳහා කිසිදු කාලයක් සොයා ගත නො හැකි ය. වෛද්‍යවරුන් රෝහල්වල කෙතරම් කාලයක් සේවයේ යෙදෙන්නේ ද යන්න වාට්ටුවක නැවතී ප්‍රතිකාර ලබා තිබෙන ඕනෑ ම රෝගියෙක් දනී.
මසකට රු. ලක්ෂ දෙකක් දක්වා වැටුප් වැඩිවීමක්‌ රජයේ වෛද්‍යවරුන් සඳහා සිදු නො කරන්නේ නම් දුෂ්කර ප්‍රදේශවල සේවය කරන වෛද්‍යවරුන් රජයේ සේවයෙන් ඉවත් වී කොළඹ අලුතින් බිහි වන පෞද්ගලික රෝහල් වෙත ඇදී යැම හා විදේශගත වීම නො වැළැක්‌විය හැකි වනු ඇතැයි වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරින්ගේ සංගමය වැඩිදුරටත් පවසයි.
මේ පට්ටපල් බොරුවක් බව පෞද්ගලික රෝහල් ගැන දන්නා අය හා විදේශගත ලාංකිකයෝ දනිති. ලංකාවේ සාමාන්‍ය වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට බටහිර රටවල වෛද්‍ය රැකියා සොයා ගන්නට අපහසු ය. එසේ ම ලැබෙන රැකියාවලින් ලංකාවේදී පෞද්ගලික සේවාවන්හි යෙදීමෙන් උපයන තරම් මුදල් උපයන්නට ද බැරි ය.
අනෙක් පැත්තෙන්, වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට රජයේ සේවයෙන් ලබා ගත හැකි පෞද්ගලික වෛද්‍ය සේවාවන්හි යෙදීමේ නිදහස පෞද්ගලික රෝහලක සේවයේ යෙදීමෙන් ලබා ගත නො හැකි ය. ලංකාවේ පෞද්ගලික රෝහල් යනු වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට ස්ථිර සේවය සඳහා ආකර්ශනීය ස්ථාන නො වේ. ඇත්ත වශයෙන් ම, ලංකාවේ පෞද්ගලික රෝහල්වලට ස්ථිර වෛද්‍යවරුන් අවශ්‍ය ද නැත. ඒවා පවත්වාගෙන යන්නේ රජයෙන් වැටුප් ලබන වෛද්‍යවරුන්ගේ ශ්‍රමයෙනි. ඒවායේ වැඩ කරන වෛද්‍යවරුන් පාට් ටයිම් කරන්නේ පෞද්ගලික රෝහලේ ද නැතිනම් රජයේ රෝහලේ ද යන්න පැහැදිලි නැත. ඒවායේ සිටින ස්ථිර වෛද්‍යවරු බොහෝ විට එක්කෝ විශ්‍රාමිකයෝ ය. නැතිනම්, රජයේ වෛද්‍ය පත්වීම් බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් සිටින්නෝ ය.
රජයේ වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමය මෙසේ අල්ලේ පැළ වෙන පච කෙළීමෙන් ප්‍රදර්ශනය කරන එක් මානසික තත්වයක් තිබේ. එය සියලු වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට පොදු නො වන හීනමානයකි. පසුගිය කාලයේ වෛද්‍ය සංගමය ඉදිරිපත් කළ තර්කයක් වන්නේ අද පත්වීම් ගත් වෛද්‍යවරයා පවා විශ්‍රාම යන්නට ඔන්න, මෙන්න සිටින වසර තිහකට වඩා සේවයේ යෙදුණු පවුල් සෞඛ්‍ය සේවිකාවට වඩා ඉහළ වැටුප් තලයක පිහිටුවිය යුතු බවයි.
යටත් විජිත ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් මේට්‍රන් ලෙස තවමත් ව්‍යවහාරයේ ඇති, රෝහලක ප්‍රධාන හෙද නිලධාරිනියගේ තනතුරු නාමය හෙද අධිකාරි කියා වෙනස් කරන්නැයි හෙද වෘත්තීය සමිති කරන ඉල්ලීමට ද රජයේ වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමය බය ය.
විදේශ රටවලින් වෛද්‍ය උපාධි ලබාගෙන එන අයට ද, පෞද්ගලික විශ්ව විද්‍යාලවලට ද රජයේ වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමය බය ය.
සනීපාරක්ෂක කම්කරුවා රුපියල් 11,700 ක් පඩි ගන්නවාටත් බය ය.
බියට හේතුව අනාරක්ෂිතකමයි. ලංකාවේ වෛද්‍යවරුන් අනාරක්ෂිත මානසික තත්වයක ඉන්නේ ඇයි ද යන්න මතු ලිපියකින් සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමු. මෙහි ඇත්තේ සමාජ, දේශපාලනික ප්‍රශ්නයකි.

මේ කතා කරන්නේ මූලික වැටුප ගැන පමණි. සේවයට පැමිණීම හා පිටවීම තමන්ගේ ම පොතක පමණක් වාර්තා කරන වෛද්‍යවරු මසකට වැඩ කරන බව කියන අතිකාල පැය ගණන හා ඔවුන් උපයන වෙනත් දීමනා ආදිය පිළිබඳ අවබෝධයක් ලබා ගැනීමට වෛද්‍යවරයකුගේ වැටුප් පතක් ප්‍රසිද්ධ කිරීමෙන් හැකියාව ලැබේ.
බොහෝ වෛද්‍යවරුන් රජයේ රෝහල්වල වැඩ කරන බව කියන අතිකාල පැය ගණන අනුව ඔවුන්ට පෞද්ගලික ප්‍රතිකාරවල යෙදීම සඳහා කිසිදු කාලයක් සොයා ගත නො හැකි ය. වෛද්‍යවරුන් රෝහල්වල කෙතරම් කාලයක් සේවයේ යෙදෙන්නේ ද යන්න වාට්ටුවක නැවතී ප්‍රතිකාර ලබා තිබෙන ඕනෑ ම රෝගියෙක් දනී.
රජයේ සේවයේ ඉහළ ම හා පහළ ම වැටුප අතර අනුපාතය 1 : 4 ක් වශයෙන් පැවැතීම නිසා රජයේ සේවය තුළ වෛද්‍යවරුන් රඳවා ගැනීම අපහසු වී ඇතැයි අවධාරණය කරන වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරීන්ගේ සංගමය පෞද්ගලික අංශයේ ඉහළ හා පහළ වැටුප් අතර අනුපාතය 1 : 1000 කට වඩා වැඩි වන බව ද, අවම වැටුප රුපියල් 7000 ක් වන විට ඉහළම වැටුප මසකට රුපියල් ලක්ෂ 50 ත් ලක්ෂ 100 ත් අතර බව පෙන්වා දෙයි.
සමාජ විෂමතා වැඩි කිරීම සඳහා තර්ක ඉදිරිපත් කරන කිසිදු සමාජ බලවේගයක් ප්‍රගතිශීලී වන්නේ නැත. අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම්වලට හා වෘත්තිකභාවයට විශේෂ සැලකිල්ලක් අවශ්‍ය බව අපි පිළි ගනිමු. වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට රු. ලක්ෂ දෙකක් දක්වා වැටුප් වැඩි කිරීම පිළිබඳව කිසිවකු විරුද්ධ විය යුතු නැත. එහෙත්, එසේ කරන්නේ නම් සනීපාරක්ෂක කම්කරුවාගේ පටන් රජයේ සේවයේ සිටින සියලු දෙනාගේ වැටුප් ද ඒ හා සාපේක්ෂව වැඩි කළ යුතු ය.
රජයේ වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට ඇත්තේ සල්ලි ප්‍රශ්නයක් නො වේ. ඔවුන්ට අවශ්‍ය තමන්ට පඩි වැඩි කර ගැනීමට වඩා රජයේ සේවයේ සෙසු වෘත්තීන්ගේ වැටුප තම වැටුපට වඩා පහළ මට්ටමක තබා ගන්නට බව ඔවුන් අගය කරන එකට දාහක් වැනි වැටුප් විෂමතාවෙන් පෙනේ.
සමාජයක පැවැත්මට අවශ්‍ය වන්නේ වෛද්‍යවරුන් පමණක් නො වේ. සනීපාරක්ෂක කම්කරුවා වැසිකිළිය පිරිසිදු කිරීමෙන් කරන්නේ ද අත්‍යවශ්‍ය සේවාවකි. උසස් පෙළට ජීව විද්‍යාව හදාරා වෛද්‍ය විද්‍යාලයට යන්නට ලකුණු කීපයක් අඩු වී ජීව විද්‍යා සාමාන්‍ය උපාධියක් හදාරා ගුරු වෘත්තියට ඇතුළත් වන ගුරුවරයා ද, විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයට ඇතුළත් වන්නට අවශ්‍ය ලකුණු මට්ටමට ලකුණු කීපයක් අඩු අය අතරින් බඳවා ගන්නා හෙද නිලධාරියා ද කරන්නේ අත්‍යවශ්‍ය සේවා ය.
වෘත්තිකයා යන හැඳින්වීම නිරවුල් අන්දමින් කරන ලද අර්ථකථනයක් මත පදනම් වන්නක් නො වේ.

ReplyDeleteමෙය කීමෙන් අදහස් කරන්නේ මෙම හීනමානය වනාහි ඇතැම් වෛද්‍යවරුනට පමනක් ඇති බහුතර වෛද්‍යවරුනට නැති හීනමානයක් බවද? එනම් සමහරක් වෛද්‍යවරුන්ගේ පෞද්ගලික හීනමානයක් පමනක් බවද? එය "පොදු බහුතර සිංහල ජනතාව ජාතිවාදීන් නොවේ" යන ජනප්‍රිය යෙදුම වැනිය!

DO you know how many local general doctors work in Australia, UK and USA?
GMOA is a trade union, they talk about their members, other trade unions also talk about their members, why do you bothered so much about GMOA??
Mind you, you might not be a well educated person, but people who have done engineering, accounts and other fields of study earning well beyond 200000.- per month. Are you jealous of them as well? or didnt you know that there are people who earn more than 200k in SL?
you better research about facts and figures and write an unbiased article, than wasting your time writing crap..

ReplyDeleteAll this is due to the extremes of corruption in SL. If there is no corruption we all would have got better salaries.
ReplyDeleteIts not nice to blame one group, we all should try and get our salaries up..
Why dont you talk about MPs and ministers who are entitled to a salary of something like, 50k without any qualification, yet earn millions per month by hook or crook, isnt that grossly unfair by any means??
Go to http://www.payscale.com/ compare salaries of all professions, doctors rank top positions in anywhere in the world.

This is the world situation.
w3lanka you better read and understand before writing on blogs.
However it is true that all professions need a salary hike. Otherwise how can we survive with sky high living cost.
Its the time for the government to seriously look into this, if doctors get 200k, do you think others will keep quiet?
They will also fight for high salaries.
Eventually everyone will get better remunerations.
SO dont discourage the doctors, let them get it, we also should follow though our trade unions.
Everyone should get together, both government and private sector, shout for your salaries.
If millions of our money wasted for various fiestas could saved, we all can get good salaries.
Please think wise, dont act impulsively

You must be living in a dream land.
I assume you are a doctor. Do you account the income you earn from doing private practice?
Be reasonable.
I am from Toronto, I totally agree with you and for Sri Lankan qualified doctors it is very difficult to enter into the medical profession as a doctor here in Canada and I personally know that few people who is qualified in Sri Lanka as doctors with Sri Lankan MBBS, work here as dishwashers and security guards.

ReplyDeleteකවුදෝ වෙදෙක් අදෝ මුඛයෙන් අඳෝනාවක් කරන බැව් පෙනේ. අනේ රාළහාමි, ඔව් මම හොඳටම දන්නවා අපේ කට්ටිය කොහොමද වැඩ කරන්නේ කියලා. ඔබේ දැනගැනීම සඳහා මම මෙහි සඳහන් කරන්නම් , සමහරුන් ලබා ගන්නේ එම රටවල කම්කරුවන් ලබා ගන්නවාට වඩා මඳක් වැඩි මුදල් ප්‍රමාණයක්.

ReplyDeleteWhat's the point of being a doctor at all, if you claim to have more salary JUST for your duty. As I know, a normal duty hours for a doctor is just 6 hrs and that duration is specified other than specifying 8 hrs duty, because a doctors mind must be kept free of overhead. But almost every doctor claim OT for an other 4 hrs a day which is the maximum limit approved for a day and even their OT rates are specified OUT of the standard system which divides the basic from 240. A normal doctor claims OT which is more than his basic. Also, there are rosters for doctors and a Doctor who works night shift is free from his next day. So working late night is just crap.

ReplyDeleteThe salary or OT should be according to the work done. Even when we spend over six hours in theaters or 12 hours in casualty units in excess of the 8am -4pm working hours, only 4 hours OT can be claimed. No all doctors have rosters and shifts.
Doctors working shifts cannot claim OT (fact, please check). The doctors who work in general units, DO NOT get the next day or next 6 hours off to rest, they have to be on duty the next day.
I and many other doctors have worked as much as 36 hours at a stretch during the dengue epidemics, the lepto epidemic and during the time there was an influx of war casualties. If we are lucky, we can snatch an hour or two of sleep in between.
Personally I do not agree with the arbitary demand for a pay hike until 200,000/-. This is unrealistic. But what we should all fight for is a fair increment for ALL pay grades. Someone has to start somewhere!

ReplyDeleteonly ward doctors are doing ot ..only allowed 4 hours of ot maxmium per day ...but thery are doing 16 hours of oncall duty per that specific day eventhough they pay only 4 hours =grade 2 medical officer will get 280/=x 4 =1120/=for that 16 hours of work ...and still they have to do the next day work as usual 8am to 4 pm .......not all doctors are doing oncalls everyday (if they do, they cant have a family life)so not every doctor will get maximum of 120 hour ot per manth (horu ehema danawa ethi anduwe inna anith horu wagema )
Not all units are entitlled for ot claim ect..shift duty units like opd pcu etu icu clinics ect..
there are very few doctors can do ward oncalls and claim ot ...thery cant do privet practice and earn extra money ...eg. if a vog side doctor is oncall (not vog )he has to do the cessarian section operation if needed or assist normal labour he cant do privet practice and ask nurses to do cessarian section ....all other wards are like that ...if heart patient comes medical ward doctor (not vp)has to be with patient in the night and manage patient even at 3 am in the morning and save life ..that doctor has to do continous wark in the following day until 4 pm ...(he is only paid 4 hours ot 1120/= for that )this this the reallty ...
usually ward doctor is earning around 60,000/= and shift doctor is earning around 50,000/= with all allowances this is the truth

I am a doctor with 5 years experience in Government service.
ReplyDeleteMy Basic salary is Rs. 26,800. With allowances, it is Rs. 42,000.
Only 4 hours overtime is allowed per day. But when I am on call I have to work from 8.00 - 12.00, 14.00 - 16.00 as the normal duty and 16.00 - 0.00 and 0.00 to 8.00 as well and then continue till 16.00 hrs next day. Simply when I work for 1 hour I get 1/2 hours OT. That is 280 /2 = 140 Rs. Per day, I get only 280 * 4 = Rs 1120. That is after working for 16 hours!
put it another way. I get Rs. 900 per day as Salary (26800 / 30), and 1120 as OT. I get Rs 2020 per day working 16 hours. That is only Rs. 126 per working hour! Now you'd get to see how pathetic is that pay!
Unlike other profession doctors work for 5 1/2 days, and in public holidays too. Add nights to that. And doctors do work the outstretches of the country. Only military and police work under more distant places. The smallest hospitals like central dispensaries has no nurses, MLTs or physiotherapists. All of them have in the luxury of bigger hospitas.
The pundits who have released there verbal diarrhea should be posted to the outskirts of the country to just work as a hospital clerk and should be given work on 28 days per week as doctors. Then we could come back to this discussion about what should be doctors pay.

In fact 50 from my senior batch have left the country and nearly 35 of them are consultants in those countries! These pundits should educate themselves before writing bullshit. Any doctor has to pass the selection exam of the said country, and then the door is open for anyone.
This writer clearly has an inferiority complex about doctors. Or otherwise he's a born cretin as he had been showing in many posts before this. Whatever happens doctors will try to get the salary hike and also to maintain the salary scale as well.

No way....We passed the A/L exam with good marks thanks to the free education system and our poor parents we got the chance to study medicine.You know how much sacrifice we did up to now... Do you know how many hours we are standing in wards per day? Do you know that We have clinical work even in mid nights.. Do you know that we have hardly any time for fun and leisure? And do you know that we have almost 6 year course to follow with hell of a lot of pressure...Do you know any other undergraduate course of this much of heavy work load... But do you know that people who didn't pass A/L's are now earning 100000 per month and some earn more than that.... So is it fair? There is no doubt that Doctors should have a good salary.... we'll keep that a side but at least appreciate their great service because one day in your life you all will go to a doctor asking for life of you or one of your relatives.... Because the day that you decide to become a doctor you are sacrificing your personal life...
No chit chats with parents, friends relatives no time to be with your family.... these are the things that every professional will have though they get a good salary or not.But we don't have that also...You think that any salary can compensate that????? I know few of SL docs working as pharmacists. Only hand full of SL doctors are well established in those countries. The only reason is that getting through the qualifying exams are very hard. One of my friend who is a doctor confirmed that only 20 of his batch mates left the country till now. Furthermore, out of 300+ my Engineering batch mates only 50 are in SL now.

If you are skilled no matter what, you can earn as much as u want. There are doctors who earns millions. I really appreciate them becoz they are really skilled in their profession. However docs are not a superior guys. They are just one of another professional category as engineer or accountant. Last but not least, if you are a smart guy you will conquer the world :)

Tell me another profession where you are asked to come to your working place (Hospital for us) in the mid night not occasionally but vary frequently...

All profession in the field...Dont mind if they get high salary.But all the categories try to get increment for there salary..Most of the doctors doing PP..They earn lot of money..Do you know their action for other field in health.. under their control all Nurses, midwife, MLT, rediographers,,,,etc doing thier job... This is plain stupid. Too idiotic to come out of a doc's mouth.
Can 4 doctors do a laborer's job? Can 100 doctors do a single soldier's job?
NO
If they can't do then that means they are inferior to a laborer.
A doc might have some memory capacity. and some learning skills. But he can not do a laborers job because he is not physically developed to clean sewers.
In developed countries like Denmark or Norway such salary gaps do not exist between any profession. Learn about the world before barking like uneducated chaps.
In Sri Lankan context most students follow Bio-Science because they want to get on to a good job with higher earning capacity. How many would really wanted to treat the ill is a real puzzle!

01. We all born with equal abilities.
02. Some of us excel at ALs and enter Medical faculty
03. After seven years of EXTENSIVE and HARD training, only some of them(with near 3% failure rate) pass out as Doctors.
04. The government highlights the money spend on free education for training Medical Students(about 750 Doctors annually), simply forgetting the Billions spent on 220 Ministers, 5000+ their henchmen.
05. The general public need to know the sacrifice that a medical student do, in order to become a doctor.
06. The output at the end of seven years, is just a long working houred job with 28550/= salary.
07. Had anyone cared about the sufferings of a family members of a doctor?
- on calls, night rounds, theater activities, surgeries, decision making...etc missing almost all household activities...
08. The government,knowing these facts, trying to get public attention on this issue, to hide their weaknesses from the public.

1. All Sri Lankan citizens have opportunity to have free education and a small percentage is selected to medicine according to the merit in AL.Out of that only a limited number will do post graduate which again , about 4-6 years of duration to be spent on that. Therefore significant amount of life is spent on studying to become a professional.

Engineering,accontantcy and management ,information technology, nursing, architecture,legal,etc. There are lot of persons who leave the country after qualifying and some run there own companies, firms,mass tuition classes etc while working in the government sector. But the public always criticize the private practice of doctors.
3. There is a massive number of people who has wasted the free education and wasted a huge amount of money and ,become drug addicts, smugglers, murderers ,gangsters and politician who continued to waste ‘ janathawage mudal’. Compared to above the amount spent to creat a doctor is negligible.
4. Doctors always involve in decision making and this can be affected by many external factorlike stress of work , lack of sleep etc. Therefore ,in many countries the number of working hours is reduced upto 36 hours per week to minimize the errors which can occur due to over work or stress. But in Sri Lanka, some units have 24hour oncall doctors.
5. Most Sri Lankan are not humble enough to pay gratitue to the overall satisfactory service given by the health sector.

වෙනත් විදියකට කිවහොත්, පළමුව "මේ කතා කරන්නේ මූලික වැටුප ගැන පමණි. සේවයට පැමිණීම හා පිටවීම තමන්ගේ ම පොතක පමණක් වාර්තා කරන වෛද්‍යවරු මසකට වැඩ කරන බව කියන අතිකාල පැය ගණන හා ඔවුන් උපයන වෙනත් දීමනා ආදිය පිළිබඳ අවබෝධයක් ලබා ගැනීමට වෛද්‍යවරයකුගේ වැටුප් පතක් ප්‍රසිද්ධ කිරීමෙන් හැකියාව ලැබේ.
බොහෝ වෛද්‍යවරුන් රජයේ රෝහල්වල වැඩ කරන බව කියන අතිකාල පැය ගණන අනුව ඔවුන්ට පෞද්ගලික ප්‍රතිකාරවල යෙදීම සඳහා කිසිදු කාලයක් සොයා ගත නො හැකි ය. වෛද්‍යවරුන් රෝහල්වල කෙතරම් කාලයක් සේවයේ යෙදෙන්නේ ද යන්න වාට්ටුවක නැවතී ප්‍රතිකාර ලබා තිබෙන ඕනෑ ම රෝගියෙක් දනී." ලෙස දෙපිට කැපෙන ලෙස වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට බැණ අඞගසා, පසුව "ඔවුන් ඇතැමෙක් තමන් රෝහල්වල වැඩ කරන ආකාරය පෙන්වා දෙමින් සමස්ත තත්වය එසේ බව කියන්නට වෙර දරති. තම කාර්යභාරය උපරිමයෙන් කරන වෛද්‍යවරු සිටින බව ඇත්තකි. එහෙත්, සියලු දෙනා මෙහි සටහන් තබා ඇති වෛද්‍යවරුන් කියන අන්දමින් වැඩ කරති නම්, සවස හතරේ සිට ප්‍රතිකාර සේවය අරඹන, රජයේ සේවයේ නියුතු බව ප්‍රසිද්ධියේ සටහන් කරන වෛද්‍යවරුන්ට හිමි වෛද්‍ය කඩ මෙතරම් කන්දරාවක් හන්දියක්, හන්දියක් ගානේ බිහි විය නො හැක." ලෙසින් නැවත ටොක්කක් අනියි.
කොටින්ම කිවහොත්, w3lanka මුලින් "(සියලුම)වෛද්‍යවරු රස්සාවට හොර කරන නිසා ඔවුන්ට වැටුප් වැඩි නොකලයුතුය" වැන්නක් කියා, එසේ නොවන බව පෙන්වා දෙන පාඨකයන්ට "ඔය කීප දෙනෙක් හරියට වැඩ කළාට, වැඩි හරියක් හොරු" බැවින් වැටුප් වැඩි නොකළ යුතු බව කියයි.(වැඩි කිරීමට විරුද්ධ නැති බව කියමින්ම...!) අර මුලින් කියූ "විරෝධය ඇත්තේ වැටුප් විෂමතා වැඩි කරන්නැයි කරන ඉල්ලීමට ය." යන කියුම සාධාරණීකරනය කරන්නට වැදගත් යමක් කියන්නේම නැත !
