I thought of writing this piece in both Sinhala and English languages. ඊයේ පැවති අන්නාසි හා කඩලගොටු සාහිත්‍ය උළෙල ගැන යමක් කතා කළ යුතුයි. I think we must speak about the Annasi and Kadalagotu Literary Festival. ලංකාවේ පැවැත්වෙන ගාලු සාහිත්‍ය උළෙල නම් ජාත්‍යන්තර කීර්තියක් ඇති සාහිත්‍ය උළෙල ගැන මම අහලා තිබෙනවා. ඒත්, එයට සහභාගි වෙලා නැහැ. අප වැනි අයට ඇත්තෙන් ම එවැනි අවස්ථාවලට ආරාධනා ලැබෙන්නේත් නැහැ. ලයිට්හවුස් හෝටලය වැනි තැන්වල පැවැත්වෙන එහි යන්නට අපට සල්ලි ඇත්තේත් නැහැ. I have heard of the internationally acclaimed Galle Literary Festival held in Galle but I have never participated in it. People like us are not invited to them and we have no money to go into such events held in venues like Lighthouse Hotel. අන්නාසි හා කඩලගොටු සා...
